WS owners will just have to explore those FX presets and timbres. Likewise with Tape Echo and Decimator FX, and most all the FX. But the WS Talking Modulator has to resort to Timbre and Presets to access those parameters. Also, the WS notes state that different FX presets choose different combinations of parameters.įor example, the Kronos Talking Modulator lets you individually choose your 3 vowels and Formant shift. It looks to be a container for multiple Kronos effect parameters. The “timbre” parameter is an invention for the WS, and not found in Kronos FX. In the Kronos there are a lot more parameters per effect. In the WS there are limited parameters to adjust or each effect - E1, E2, E3, trim, and Wet/Dry. So it looks like there’s a trade off between ease of use and in-depth FX tweaking.
